An excellent presentation. He clearly demonstrated by quoting Gurbani That Guru Granth Sahib is abode of Waheguru (“Pothi parmesar ka than”) and the way to Waheguru is only Naam (Nanak ke ghar keval Naam.

He made a case that in Sikhi salvation lies in loosing self-hood (Humai/Ego) and Dubida (Duality).

    ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਈਐ ਤਾ ਸਹੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਅਉਰੁ ਕੈਸੀ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ॥ (Raag Tilang M. 1, GGS. 722-13).
Aap Gavaaeeai Thaa Sahu Paaeeai Aour Kaisee Chathuraaee ||
Give up your selfhood, and so obtain your Husband Lord; what other clever tricks are of any use?

    Very enlightening talk indeed.

Jarnail Singh Ji clearly enjoys the blessing of Waheguru at a young are.

I have one thing in my mind, and another thing on my lips; I am such a poor, unfortunate liar! ||1||. I appear to chant the Lord’s Name, but within my heart, I am the most wicked of the wicked. As it pleases You, save me, O Lord and Master; servant Nanak seeks Your Sanctuary. ||2||5||

! ! I am proud of Sardar Jarnail Singh. He was so civil. ! !For years, I haven’t been able to talk about 1984 riots with anybody, not with feollw Sikhs, not with my Hindu friends, not with my family. I have never been able to comprehend, why innocent Sikhs were butchered. All around us, we lost our dear ones and property and couldn’t do anything about it.Day after day, investigations into the riots have been out-maneuvered by lies-lies and politicians. I don’t know, like me, if you also have felt seething anger within yourself, at having to keep on compromising with your conscience and your emotions.I still remember the day, our Hindu neighbours pleaded with my family to shift to their house and we had to eventually. That day, our pride was compromised, for having had to run with our heads bowed, in our Country, on our own land. For days, I didn’t know, whom to trust and whom not to trust. One wants to believe, that wounds have healed, but lately I have been feeling impotent, that after so many years, no culprits have been booked. Even protests by Sikh groups, have all been hijacked by politicians, for their petty benefits.Jarnail Singh did, what best he could do. He did, what I couldn’t do. He was so restricted. I don’t condone killings & violence. He showed to Chidambaram and the powers that be, that Sikhs are seething, that we are still suffering the pains.! ! I am proud of Sardar Jarnail Singh. He was so civil. ! !Inderjeet Singh
