Gurmukhi fonts are used in several places on this web site. To view them correctly on your system, you need to download and install the Gurmukhi fonts on your system.

The Gurmukhi TrueType fonts are in a compressed "Zip" file. Download this file (GurmukhiFonts.zip) and save it on your system in a temporary directory. Extract the individual files, using a ulility like WinZip. You can download a shareware version of WinZip from one of the shareware web sites like http://www.download.com. |
To install the fonts under Windows 95, open "Control Panel" (Start|settings|Control Panel), open "Fonts" by double clicking on the Fonts icon, and use the "install New font command" from the File menu.
For Windows 2000, Close all open windows applications. Download the
Gurmukhi fonts in Windows 2000. Download the files into a Temporary directory. Using Win
Zip extract the
fonts into the C:\WINNT\Fonts directory. Next time you open the windows applications you
should be able to view the fonts in the Pull down menu.
