Abstract:
Gurbani tells us that our mool or essence is Divine. But we are separated from our True, Divine Self by the wall of Haumai, the influence of Maya, and our weaknesses of kaam, krodh, lobh, moh, hankaar). We can get in touch with our real Divine Self though the practice of Gurbani, and the power of Naam Simran and Ardaas.
As always, w look for active participation by the Sangat in an environment that encourages interactive discussion
Our real Divine self, is it mind or something other than mind. Is there difference between mind and soul. I hope ihis aspect is also taken up in the discussion.
Khalsa is dominated by super powers of love of bliss of Naam & not
by powers of finance ………..kindly note.
Wonderful discussion indeed . However I feel strongly & desire to share the role of soul to penetrate the mind in love of Hukum of GURU .
GURU/GOD needs to be defined in a rational manner so as to facilitate the intellectual minds belonging to
all religions or even those who feel that they belong to atheist group. You have mentioned about the location
of GOD beyond many skies but still in full command of his creation to help his beloveds & punish the demons. .
GURU/GOD in real sense is a personality defined as ” Infinite bliss of love of truth personified ”
His special beloveds are known as SAINTS , SAGE & SEER who always help & facilitate a seeker of
truth to enjoy bliss to mind . It is agreed by all existing religions of our planet .
WHAT IS BLISS STATE OF MIND ????
Mind enjoys a state of bliss only if the seeker of truth is blessed with the grace of GURU/GOD
otherwise it is in a state superficial bliss of ego.

What happens in this process ?? .
The electron size soul gets facilitated to move from anatomical heart with the attraction power of
lotus feet of GURU /GOD who is seated in SUKHAASAN over the line of eyebrows . GURU pulls
the soul & facilitates in penetrating the MIND . GURBANI confirms it , i.e.
” Gurudwarey laayee bhaavni Ikna daswan dwar dikhhaya …..”
MIND is the child of electron size SOUL (ENERGY) . Even though medical science has made
incredible progress & hence DOCTORS are equated to enjoy the status of HALF GOD by SAINTS.
Unfortunately medical science has no clue about the electron size soul nor its child the mind .
GOD has placed the value of Name Divine ( NAAM ) higher than GOD . Gurbani of Japji Sahib
confirms it i.e.
” Vaddah sahib uchha thaaon Uchhey uupar uchha naaon ……..”
Journey of soul after penetrating the mind starts from here towards the Kingdom of GOD
while undergoing constant trials in love of truth & has to pass through challenges of enjoying
heavy down pour of NECTAR over the inner body with thunders of clouds & even deadly
lightening etc..
The soul now reaches the gate of the Kingdom of GOD inside our spiritual heart . This journey
of soul is a subject of science of spirituality . It needs to be explored by research effort at University
level but we do not find it as matter of much interest. GURBANI of Japji Sahib highlights the
physical aspect of the Kingdom of GOD . i.e.
” Tithhey vassey bhagat kai loey Karr annand sachha mann soeey
Sachh khhand vassey Nirankar Karr karr vekhey nadar nihal……….”
The glimpse of the Kingdom of GOD inside our spiritual heart is so glittering &
full of Infinite bliss that it results in permanent peace to the mind & heart . Here you
are blessed with true wisdom & it facilitates in understanding the knowledge of human
values in life.
Purpose of life is do Naam japna , Kirat karni & vand chhakna .
It is difficult to get blessed with NAAM DAAN in life but is not impossible . In fact GURU is
ever kind but we get facilitated by reading biography of a true saint to understand the meaning
& process of getting Naam daan which is rarest of the rare gift/donation of GURU/GOD.In this
state all the five evils loose their existence & duality created by them (ego) vanishes.
So I feel that we have not created the image of GOD/GURU but get blessed to enjoy the
glimpse of GOD & his Kingdom inside our spiritual heart . It is all real & neither out of imagination
nor a bookish affair .
